I just read about a young mom who lost her dad a few weeks ago. I don't know her, but I have read her blog off and on for years. It just reminded me of how we can't take anything for granted, but instead to be grateful for right now. I went to check on Michaela a minute ago and she was not all the way asleep. She wiped her face and held her arms up to give me a hug, with her eyes closed. I'm grateful for those moments. Thanks for a timely word, Laura.
ReplyDeleteOh those are the sweetest moments, aren't they? I'm glad you went to check on her and didn't miss that moment. Thank you for sharing Christina.
