**Sit quietly, eyes closed and in silence for one minute before reading.**
You
may be looking for a way out today. A way out of a situation, a way out of a
diagnosis, a way out of a relationship. You are desperate for a way out yet God
is not offering one. He offers no escape, no relief and no answers. You long
for God to provide a way out like He has for a friend, for a neighbor, for a
person from a distant story. You long and God does not provide a way out.
You are weary and afraid. Will God show up? Will He provide a way out?
I do not know if He will provide a way out but I know that He is with you. He is with you.
In your fear, your frustration, your weariness, your blood-shot eyes and your
rage, God is with you.
Sit silently, let this truth sink in and rest.
**Sit again in silence for as long as is available to you.**
